 THE FAMILY


My host family is four sisters, my partner has a twin who has a spanish studient too so in total we was eight people in the house. 

Something that surprised me was that they are not so affectionate between them like we are in Spain. The only moment that we was together was in the meals. They don't hug or kiss each other frequently.

Parents work at a farm with cows they also have five horses and two dogs.             The house was far from the school so we had to take the car and the bus to go.

Everyone in the family is super nice and helped us a lot, they also explained something to us if we didn't understand it.

IRISH

 IRISH The second language in Ireland is Irish, and everyone studies it at school. I t is only spoken in some parts of Ireland. In my host family only the father spoke fluently. At school I took four Irish classes and I didn't understand anything.  I think it is very difficult to learn .  Irish is very different from Spanish. My partner had been studying Irish for ten years and spoke very well.

FIIRST IMPRESSIONS

  FIRST IMPRESSIONS  From the first day we communicated by phone, my host partner and sh e was super friendly and kind. We send each other photos and talk about what we would do in Ireland.  When we arrived in Ireland all the Erasmus students made us welcome posters.  The family from the first moment was very attentive and helped us with everything.  When I entered school for the first time I was surprised, it was very different from Spain and much bigger than what I expected. The truth is that I didn't expect Ireland like that, I loved it.

SURF AND CLIFFS

 SURF AND MOHER CLIFFS On September 25 we visited the Cliffs of Moher, this was our last excursion in Ireland so we really wanted to and were very excited, t he weather that day was horrible, a lot of rain and wind. The cliffs were beautiful. After eating we went surfing, s ome of the spanish students didn't want to surf because of the cold, but most of us we were very excited, the surfing was great and a lot of fun, I learned a lot. After two hour of surfing we get out of the water i was frozen, it was very cold. After surfing we had a hot chocolate, when we were warmed up we returned home.
